Obituary

Lorraine M. (Chagnon) Langlois, 90, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2018, at Life Care of Attleboro. Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Alfred and Rose (Cote) Chagnon and wife of the late Philip E. Langlois.

Lorraine was a lifelong resident of Attleboro, having moved here when she was two years old. Before she was married, she worked for Swank and for a short time, in the mid 1980's, she worked as an aide for Community Health Agency. Her main joy and focus in life was her family, raising her four children and later spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to play cards (especially Royal Rummy), she enjoyed singing and had a beautiful singing voice, and loved her animals; especially her cat, Stella.

She was a devoted mother to her four children, Eugene Langlois of Attleboro, Ronald Langlois of East Harwich, MA, Karen Gariepy of Norton, MA, and Lori-Lynn Mason of North Attleboro; and a beloved "Memere" to her Nine grandchildren; Seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Lorraine was also sister to the late Armand, Leo, and Maurice Chagnon, Doris Pendergast, and Pauline Langevin.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, MA.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 71 Linden Street, Attleboro. Burial to follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.
