Kenneth E. Lacerda

Kenneth E. Lacerda, 74, of Fall River, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of forty four years to Donna (Costa) Lacerda.

He was born in Dighton, the son of the late Edward and Rita (Stevens) Lacerda. Kenny graduated from Somerset High School and then served his country with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. While working as an upholsterer, Kenny attended Bristol Community College and earned his Associates Degree. He cherished the time he spent with his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews. Kenny was an avid photographer and scuba diver who loved traveling with his wife.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sister-in-law, Priscilla Lacerda of Somerset. Kenny was the brother of the late Arnold F. Lacerda, Sr. He was the nephew of the late William and Hilda Stevens.

His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018, at 9AM, from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, at 10AM, in St. Patrick's Church, 306 South Street, Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial to follow with Military Honors to in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Somerset.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018, from 4pm-7pm, in the funeral home.
