Joseph H. Talbot

Joseph H. Talbot, 82, of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, Feb 19, 2019, in the Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Catherine A. (Tercera) Talbot.

Born in Fall River, he served 11 years in the United States Air Force during both the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict. He later worked twenty years for the Charlton Memorial Hospital as a maintenance engineer and boiler operator, retiring in 1997. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Fall River.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Michael Talbot of Somerset, Ronald Talbot of Florida, and Kenneth Talbot also of Somerset; two step-sons, Thomas Lundstrom of Fall River and Jeffrey Lundstrom of Fairhaven; a step-daughter, Jennifer Lundstrom-Affonso of Swansea; two sisters, Margaret Kubica of Stratford, CT, and Juliette Geary of Swansea; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his bother Robert Talbot.

His funeral will be held Monday, February 25, 2019, at 9 AM, from the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, with a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, N. Main St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
