Joseph A. Reading, Jr., 39, of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 13, 2019. He was the loving husband of Veronica Reading of Fall River for twenty years.
Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph Reading, Sr. and Anne (Sandler) Taylor of Fall River. Joseph was an avid Patriot's fan, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and had a passion for cars. He was a collector of many different items and over the years has gleaned large collections. To many friends and family, he was affectionately referred to as "The Hulk", because of his strength and endurance. Mr. Reading practiced the Norse religion, which was symbolized by his necklace of Thor's Hammer that he always wore. Odin and Thor were his favorites. He would often go to Odin for guidance. Joseph believed wholeheartedly he was going to Valhalla after his passing where he will watch over his wife and son. He will be remembered for his beliefs, and his devotion to his family, especially to his wife and son, who he considered his world. His marriage was of the greatest importance to him. He treasured the time he was able to spend with his wife, whom he considered his soulmate, best friend and love of his life.
