Joan was the sister of the late Eugene Toomey, Catherine McDermott, Dorothy Cook, George Toomey, John Toomey, Charles Haggerty, Frank Haggerty, Raymond Haggerty, Paul Haggerty, John Haggerty Sr., Elizabeth Hodgson, Dorothy Hathaway, and Mary O'Neil.
