Jean Paul C. Hudon , 100, of Fairhaven, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Alden Court Nursing Care Center, in Fairhaven. He was the husband of 74 years of the late Doris M. (Gagne) Hudon.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Charles and Leda (Bard) Hudon. He lived most of his life in Fairhaven. He was a communicant of Saint Jospeh Church. Jean Paul was a sheet metal worker for Palmer Scott Boat Co., Concordia Boat Co. and Norris H. Tripp Co. He was an Army Veteran of World War II in the 14th Armored Infantry Battalion. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his three children Carole Carreiro and her husband Albert, Gail Hudon and her husband Paul Matheson, Kathy Vincent and her husband Alfred, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Normand Hudon, Henri Hudon, Bernard Hudon, Jeannette DePault, Cecile Roy, Gabrielle Covill and Theresa Mathieu.
Remembrances in his memory can be made to Community Nurse and Hospice Care of Fairhaven.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, at 10am, in Saint Joseph Church, 74 Spring Street, followed by interment with Military Honors in Riverside Cemetery.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Fairhaven Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven.
