Isabelle Meyer, 96, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on August 15, 2018.
Isabelle was born in Attleboro and was a daughter of the late Mariano and Georgiana (Perry) Silva.
Isabelle attended local schools and worked as a machine operator at the former Leach and Gardner Corp, in Attleboro Falls, for many years until her retirement. Isabelle loved nature and enjoyed the time she spent at the beach, hiking, and summers on Cape Cod. She also enjoyed her salt water taffy, and singing and dancing. Most of all, Isabelle cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Paul Meyer and his wife Susan and Kenneth Meyer and his longtime companion Tracey, all of Attleboro; daughters, Linda Meyer of Attleboro and Pauline Bussiere and her husband Gerald of Orange City, FL; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Alfonse, John and Charles Silva, Irene Mazzarino, Mary Pedro, and Grace Castro.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018, at 10am, in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 71 Linden St., Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, West St., Attleboro.
