Obituary

Henry A. Loiselle, 94, of Somerset, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Vivian E. (Gaudreau) Loiselle.

Henry was born in Fall River and was the son of Alfred. A and Alpheda (Bienvenue) Loiselle. After graduating high school, Mr. Loiselle served in the U. S. Army Air Corp during WWII. He then went on to work as a supervisor of engineering and research at Whittenton Industries. After retirement, Henry enjoyed spending winters with his wife in Cape Coral, FL, caring for his beloved dogs, and going out to eat with his family, especially at Cindy's Restaurant in Somerset. Mr. Loiselle was an avid boater and enjoyed building wooden boat models.

He is survived by two daughters: Nanette Shea and her companion Antonio Gibbs of Somerset, and Michele Perry and her husband Jeffrey of Fort Meyers, Florida; a sister, Lorraine Loiselle Talbot and her husband William of Somerset; a grandchild, Mercedes Mincks of California; and many nieces and nephews. Henry was the brother of the late Ernest Loiselle.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at 9 AM, from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset, followed at 10 AM by a Mass of Christian burial in the St. Louis de France Church, 56 Buffington Street, Swansea. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
