Harvey S. Hubbard

Harvey S. Hubbard, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 25, 2018. He was the loving husband of Elaine G. (Davis) Hubbard, with whom he shared 70 years of marriage.

Harvey was born in Rochester, VT and was a son of the late Henry and Evelyn (Harvey) Hubbard.

Harvey was employed as a machinist for many years, and also as a draftsman for Raytheon, where he was instrumental in the development of the radar range. Harvey was a member of the Attleboro Police Auxiliary and the Brookfield Masonic Lodge in Brookfield, VT. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and talented wood worker. Most of all, Harvey enjoyed the time he spent helping others and with his family, in particular, family trips to their home in VT.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his son, Richard Hubbard and his wife Cyndi of Raynham; daughters, Evelyn Kazen and her husband Carl, Sr. of Rehoboth, Janice Bell of Attleboro and Diane Alves of Ludlow, VT; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

His funeral service with Words of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018, at 7pm, in the Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main St., Attleboro, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Burial will be held in the spring in Rochester, VT at a date and time to be announced.

Calling Hours will precede the funeral service from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
