Frank P. Liaknickas, 78, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018. He was the husband of the late Carol A. (Lee) Liaknickas.
Frank was born in Boston and was a son of the late Peter and Mary (Burnikas) Liaknickas.
Frank served his country honorably in the US Army during the Korean War, and worked as a baker at the Diamond Bakery for many years, he enjoyed playing cards, being by the water and was an avid fisherman. Frank also enjoyed the trips he made to Castle Island. Above all else, Frank cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his son Paul Liaknickas of FL; daughters, Marie Gannon and her husband Mike of Taunton, Karen Dinger and her husband David of Norwell and Laura Hall and her husband Bob of Concord, NH; sister Jeannie Migdal of Boyse, VA; grandchildren, Paul, Patrick, John, Bobby, Sean, Tori, Lauren, Olivia and Emily; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late John Liaknickas.
Burial services with military honors at the MA National Cemetery will be private.
