Delbert E. Boudreau, 76, of Somerset, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, in Fall River. He was the husband of fifty-seven years to Patricia (LeBlanc) Boudreau.
Delbert was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, the son of the late John H. and Mary Rose (Doucette) Boudreau. Mr. Boudreau worked in Cambridge for Ekel Industries as a machine operator for over thirty years and then for Anderson McQuaid as a shape machine operator, retiring in 2013. Delbert enjoyed being on his boat, the outdoors, and being with family and friends. He could play many string instruments from the mandolin to the guitar. Delbert also listened to bluegrass and country western music. He was a longtime member of the Notre Dame Association "French Club" for many years, in Cambridge.
Survivors besides his wife are a daughter: Darlene M. Logue and her husband Brian of Litchfield, NH; a son: Darrell W. Boudreau and his wife Kimberly of Lexington, MA; two grandchildren: Alexis Rose and Daniel Joseph a sister: Joan E. Carvalho of Arlington, MA; a brother: Harold Boudreau of Revere, MA; along with several nieces and nephews.
All arrangements are Private at the request of the family and have been entrusted to the care of the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset, MA
