Obituary

ATTLEBORO- Cynthia L. Gosselin, 72, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 8, 2017. She was the wife of Andre J. Gosselin.

Cynthia was born in Somerville, MA and was the daughter of the late Matthew J. and Guilhermina P. (Nobrega) Bettencourt. 

Cindy was employed as an executive secretary for Anheuser-Busch for many years. She enjoyed  going to antique shows, going to the movies and crafting her own cross stitch and stained glass. Being on the water, in particular spending time in Ogunquit Maine with her husband brought Cindy great joy in her life. During her illness, Cindy was always able to retain her great sense of humor, that was with her until the end. She will be deeply missed by her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, Sean M. Bosworth of CT; daughter, Amy K. Bosworth and her husband Edward Sherman of IN; close cousins, Diane Giordano and her husband Arthur and their children Lisa and Amanda, and Lawrence Nobrega, his wife Mary and their children, Tim and Stephen, all of Burlington, MA and a loving extended family.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at 9am, from the Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main St., Attleboro, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial, at 10am, in St. John the Evangelist Church, 1 St. John Pl., Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Burial will follow at the North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro.

Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from 5-8pm, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Cindy's name may be made to the MA Alzheimer's Association, 473 South St., W #13, Raynham, MA 02767.
