Obituary

Charles P. Paulo, 91, a lifelong resident of Fall River passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 8, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of 68 years to Marion (Franco) Paulo.

Born in Fall River, son of the late Americo and Etelvina Paulo. Charles was a member of the Fall River Police Department for 25 years. He proudly served his country during WWII with the United States Navy. In retirement he enjoyed winters in Florida with his wife. The greatest source of pride and joy for Charles was his family.

Besides his wife he is survived by four loving daughters Roslyn Lowney and her husband Timothy of Canton, MA, Karen Ouellette and her husband Armand of Fall River, Sandra Aballo and her husband Glen of Tiverton, RI, and Christine Reilly and her husband Andrew of Randolph, MA. He also leaves 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Mary Dias and Beatrice Teves.

Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, at 10AM, from the Hathaway Home for Funerals, 1813 Robeson St, Fall River, MA; with a funeral mass in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River, at 11AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Calling hours are Tuesday, September 11th, 2018, from 5-8 pm.
