Obituary

Betty M.(Stoessel) Marciarille, 90, of Swansea, passed away at Charlton Memorial Hospital on July 23, 2018. She was the wife of fifty seven years to the late Raymond Marciarille.

Betty was born in Lebanon, PA, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mae (Wolfensburger) Stoessel. A dedicated mother, Betty spent most of her time at home raising her children and took great joy in helping raise her grandchildren.

Betty was also an avid crocheter and was known for her handmade outfits she crocheted for her dolls. She also enjoyed bowling and gardening, both of which she continued until her eighties. Betty also enjoyed playing cards and turning her house into a Christmas village for her friends and family around the holidays.

Survivors include: two daughters, Theresa M. Marciarille of Swansea, and Betty Silva and her husband Thomas of Little Compton, RI; four grandchildren: Valerie Levasseur and her husband Anthony, Kristina, Daniel, and Sabrina; three great-grandchildren: Gillian, Alyssa, and Gwenyth; along with many nieces and nephews. Betty was the mother of the late Franklin Marciarille, and the sister of the late Harold Stoessel and the late Theresa Gamble.

Betty's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 11am-12 noon, with words of remembrance following at 12 noon, in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset.
