Obituary

Anne E. (Leary) Caine, 94, of Somerset, passed away peacefully Friday, September 14, 2018, at Clifton Rehab Nursing Center, in Somerset. She was the wife of the late Leo J. Caine, Jr.

Born and raised in Fall River, daughter of the late John and Mary (McCabe) Leary, she settled in Somerset about 12 years ago where she was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church.

Mrs. Caine was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, reading and baking, but most importantly especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a strong advocate for her daughter with special needs and was one of the parents who established the Nazareth Hall Bowling League, which her daughter Mary is involved.

She is survived by her children, Leo J. Caine, III and his wife Lorraine of Bradenton Beach, FL, Edward P. Caine and his wife Beverly, James J.G. Caine and John F. Caine and his wife Cynthia all of Fall River, Maureen Stanko and her husband Thomas of Swansea, Eileen Eldon and her husband David of FL and Mary Louise Caine of Fall River; ten grandchildren; Edward, William, Christopher and Brittany Caine, Jennifer Blatchford, Kristen McAvoy, Stacy Eldon, Katie Cooey, Caroline Lawson and Brian Stanko; 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Caine was the sister of the late James, John, Patrick and Leo Leary and Catherine Sullivan.

Calling hours are Tuesday, from 5-7pm, in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset.

Her funeral will be Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at 10:00am, from the funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, in St. Patrick's Church, Somerset. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
