Alexander J. Maden

Alexander J. Maden, 23, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, September 29, 2018. He was the loving husband of Ashley (DaSilva) Maden, the two were happily married on March 17, 2018.

Alex was born in Norwood, MA and was the son of Andrew Maden and Jennifer Paquette.

Alex was employed at his family's business, Dunkin Donuts, in Attleboro, for several years. He enjoyed video games, especially playing Mario Kart with his sister Samantha. Alex was also an avid blogger and a talented computer builder. Most of all, Alex cherished the time he spent with his family, in particular, going on adventures with the love of his life Ashley. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and his many friends.

Surviving in addition to his parents and his wife are his sisters, Samantha and Faith Fontaine, step-father, Raymond Paquette, and grandparents, James Valequett and Gail Cost and Sharon Naismith

He was the brother of the late Grace Fontaine and grandson of the late Jack Maden.

Alex's Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 11am, in the East Bay Baptist Church, 10 James St., E. Providence, RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018, from 4-8pm, in the Foley-Cook-Hathaway Funeral Home, 126 South Main St., Attleboro, MA.

Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
