While installing equipment at the New England Telephone office in Taunton, Al met Jean and they married in June 1958. They lived briefly in Taunton before establishing their home in Raynham in 1960. Al was known for his great sense of humor, strength of character, humility, ability to master any project and most especially for his kindness and generosity.
