View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Liduina “Lillian” R. (Lima) Laforce, 87 died Wednesday, February 14, 2005 at her home 102 New Jersey Avenue, Somerset. She was the wife of the late Benjamin Laforce. She was born on October 11, 1918 in Fall River, Ma., the daughter of the late Antone R. and Maria (Mello) Lima.
Mrs. LaForce had worked at Edgar's Department Stores in Fall River and Swansea for over 20 years as they department head. She had also worked for Boyle Brothers in New Bedford for 8 years and Burons clothing store for 10 years.
She was a member of the Somerset Village Senior's Club, Disabled American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary of Somerst and Sunshine Lady of Village Seniors.
Mrs. LaForce leaves 1 Nephew- Steven E. Lempke and his wife Theresa of Fall River, MA one niece Karen Cooper of Florida, 4 great nieces Amanda Sanner of Somerset, Ma, Susan Brown, Linda DaSilva, and Theresa Schultz 1great nephew Adam Lempke of Fall River. Mrs. LaForce was the sister of the late Mary Moniz, Rosalind Lempke and Celia Maitland.
Funeral Information
Her Funeral will be held Saturday, February 18, 2006 at 7:30 am in the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton Street, Somerset to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Saint Patrick's Church, 306 South Street, Somerset, Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. calling hours Friday from 6-9 pm in the funeral home.
