SEEKONK – Alice A. (Perry) Fisk, 80, died Monday, September 14, 2009, at the home of her daughter Cathlene, with whom she had lived. She was surrounded by her family at the hour of her death. Born in the Dodgeville section of Attleboro, a daughter of the late Omer M. & Louise (Forand) Perry, Alice was the wife of the late Edward Matthew Fisk, Jr., to whom she was married for more than forty-six years. She was a homemaker, raising her six children, while also working in the school cafeteria and a bus driver for the Seekonk school system for over twenty-seven years. A resident of Seekonk for more than seventy years, coming from Dodgeville, she was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Seekonk. She was a member of the Star Twirlers Square Dancing Club, had been a former Den Mother for Cub Scouts, and was a member of St. Mary’s Senior Saints, and also served on the Seekonk Council on Aging. She leaves her children, Charlene A. Fisk, James and his wife Sharon (St. Laurent) Fisk, Mitchel and his wife Erica (Anderson) Fisk, Cathlene and her husband Alfred George, all of Seekonk; Edward and his wife Colleen (Simpson) of Pawtucket, RI, Lisa and her husband, James Dean of Seekonk. She was the grandmother of Steven Fisk, Amanda Nixon, James Dean, Stephanie George, Elizabeth Fisk, Christopher George, Matthew Fisk, Megan Fisk, and Timothy Fisk. She would have been the great-grandmother of the future Sophie-Louise Alice Nixon. She was also the sister of the late Lorraine Ida Feola. Funeral InformationHer funeral will be held Saturday, September 19, 2009, at 9:00AM from THE FOLEY - HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Mary’s Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk. Burial will follow in Seekonk Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held Friday, September 18, from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM in the funeral home.
