Ann Silva, 78, of Berkley, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.
Ann was born in Boston, daughter of the late Alfred and Lois L. (Marden) Holmberg and she was the wife of the late William “Cowboy Bill” Silva.
Ann worked for Princess House and Chadwick’s of Boston. After retiring she worked for Dave’s Seafood in the retail store where she enjoyed her many customers from Taunton and beyond. Ann was a member of TOPPS #0348 and the Berkley Happy Hearts Club. Ann was known for her efforts in fundraising for various charities often having tickets for one or two fundraisers in one hand and an Avon catalog in the other. She also enjoyed her Friday nights at the Atlantic Cafe.
Ann is survived by her son Mark Silva, her grandson Daniel Silva both of Berkley and her many caring and devoted friends, including “the girls”, from TOPPS.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 30, 2017, from 4-8 pm, in the Crapo Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., Taunton, MA. Friends and family are invited to attend funeral services in the funeral home on Friday, December 1, 2017, at 10am, followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton, MA.
