Doris I. "Dot" Felix

Doris "Dot" I. (Lavigne) Felix, 83, of New Bedford died Saturday, December 10, 2005 at Alden Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. She was the widow of Jose Reis Felix, Jr.

Born in New Bedford January 11, 1922 the daughter of the late Eugene G. and Adelena (Lapamboise) Lavigne.

Mrs. Felix was a life long resident of the city. She was a homemaker and enjoyed arts and crafts.

She is survived by four sons, Jose Philip Felix of New Bedford, Robert C. Felix of New Bedford, David P. Felix of Snellville, Georgia, and James D. Felix of Beverly; one granddaughter, Nicole Marie of Snellville, Georgia; and one great grandchild.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 9:30 AM from the Donaghy Funeral Home, 465 County Street, New Bedford. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Calling hours are Monday, December 12, 2005 from 7-9 PM.
