Theresa Marie ( Love ) Reed Hartke, 73, of Lafayette Street Somerset, died Friday, June 9, 2006 at home. She was the wife Nathaniel Reed. She was born in Boston MA on October 31, 1932, a daughter of the late Wilfred & Angelina Rose ( Mullins) Love.

She was a childhood educator at the Buttons and Bows Child Care Center of North Kingstown RI for 12 years. She has lived in Somerset, coming from Bristol RI, She was a parishioner of St Thomas More Church, she enjoyed quilting, arts & crafts, baking, and traveling. She had worked in the restaurant industry for many years. She also had raised 8 children.

Besides her husband she was the mother of Richard A. Hartke of Warren RI, Alden H Hartke of Campton NH, Gordon M Hartke of Campton NH, a daughter Jodi Lynn Hartke of Naples Florida, a step son James L Reed of Orlando Florida, 3 step daughters Jennifer Carnevale of Kingstown RI, Jacqueline Silvia of Warren RI, Jessica Reed - Ballanger of Tacoma Washington. 2 sisters Dorothy Cox of Worcester Ma, Mary McGarry of Sebring Florida. 16 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
She was the sister of the late Wilfred Love, Frederick Love.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 8:30am from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA, with a mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Avenue Somerset, burial will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover MA. Calling are hours Monday, June 12, 2006 from 4 - 8 pm.
