View Tribute and Sign Guestbook SWANSEA – Hilda S. Krawczyk, 85, of Swansea, died Monday, May 4, 2009, at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. Born in Fall River, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Perreira) Silvia, she was the wife of the late Edward A. Krawczyk.
A graduate of BMC Durfee High School and the former Thibodeau Business College in Fall River, Mrs. Krawczyk worked for the Fall River law firm of Clarkin and Waldron, Esq., as well as in the garment industry. She was a member of UNITE and ILGWU. Hilda was a communicant of Saint Francis of Assisi Parish in Swansea.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Stella Medeiros of Fall River; her godchildren, cousins and many other relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her twin sister, Mary “Mamie” Silvia.
Funeral Information
Her funeral service will be held Friday, May 8, 2009, at 8:45AM from the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, 530 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Swansea. Calling hours with Video Photo Album will take place Thursday, May 7, from 5:00-8:00PM in the funeral home.
