WOONSOCKET – Richard Beaudoin, 74, of Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket, died Saturday, June 29, 2007, in the Providence VA Medical Center. Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Alderic and Diana (Provencal) Beaudoin, he was the husband of the late Muriel L. (Morin) Beaudoin.

A lifelong Woonsocket resident and a communicant of All Saints Church, Mr. Beaudoin served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated the former Richard Beaudoin Real Estate Agency and the former Beau-Lef Realty Company in Woonsocket for many years before retiring in 1986.

He was a past president of the Woonsocket Board of Realtors and received the Realtor of the Year award for the State of RI. He was also an antique car enthusiast.

Mr. Beaudoin leaves one daughter, Rachel M. Dellinger of Woonsocket; four sisters, Estelle Archambault of North Smithfield, Claudette Blais of Albion, Suzanne Spink of Woonsocket and Irene Pianka of Warwick; two grandchildren, Tricia and Megan Dellinger; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Marcel, Romeo and Leo Beaudoin and Rita Dubois.

Funeral Information

Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 9, 2007, at 10:00AM in All Saints Church, 323 Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
