Marilyn J. Santos

FALL RIVER – Marilyn J. (Carrita) Santos, 64, of Locust Street, Fall River, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2007, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Gerald S. Santos and the companion of Roland Desbiens of Woonsocket. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Manuel and Gertrude (Howarth) Carrita, Mrs. Santos graduated with the Class of 1961 at BMC Durfee High School in Fall River.

Mrs. Santos worked as a floor lady for twenty-five years at the BoMark Corporation in Fall River and also was a cleaning lady for several years at STARR. She was a member of the New Hope Christian Church in Swansea and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her companion, Mrs. Santos leaves two daughters, Dawn M. Southworth and Julie C. Tetrault, and a son, Gerald M. Santos, all of Fall River; a sister, Trudy Lynch of Florida; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Cheryl A. Manchester.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2007, at 10:00AM in the HATHAWAY HOME for FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
