View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Francis H. Pelland 80, of Cliff Avenue in Swansea passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Marie D. (LaJoie) Pelland. Born in Fall River, Ma on June 2, 1925 the son of the late Joseph O. and Eleanor (Adams) Pelland. Mr. Pelland served his country during WWII with the United States Navy, after serving his country he went to work as a truck driver for the former Enterprise Brewing Company for twenty years and then for Merit Dress Company for eighteen years, he retired several years ago. He was a communicant of Saint Francis of Assisi in Swansea.
Survivors are a daughter Sandra L. Corbin of Northport, Florida three sons Bruce F. Pelland of Fall River, MA Brian K. Pelland of Fall River, MA Barry K. Pelland of Swansea, MA two sisters Dolores Medeiros of Fall River, MA Julie Depin of Fall River, MA a brother Alfred Pelland of Assonet, MA ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Lorraine Kitchen, and Thomas Pelland.
Funeral Information
His funeral will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 10m in Saint Francis of Assisi Church 530 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial to follow with MILITARY HONORS in Mount Hope Cemetery Swansea.
