View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FAIRHAVEN – Judith A. (Covill) Ostiguy, 64, of Fairhaven, died on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, peacefully at home after a period of declining health. She was the wife of Robert R. Ostiguy. Born in Providence, RI, the daughter of Charles Covill of Fairhaven and the late Amy (Burns) Covill, she lived in Fairhaven most of her life.
Mrs. Ostiguy was the former owner of the Robin’s Nest Yarn Shop in Fairhaven. She loved knitting for her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed flowers, her garden, and her pets and animals.
She is survived by her husband and father; three sons, Peter J. Ostiguy and his wife Michelle, and William C. Ostiguy and his wife Kristine, all of Acushnet, and Thomas R. Ostiguy and his wife Kellie of Fairhaven; a sister, Deborah J. Fauteux of Acushnet; four grandchildren, Matthew, Amelia, Maggie and Allison Ostiguy; an aunt, Gladys Seddon of Fairhaven; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2007, at 11:00AM in the FAIRHAVEN FUNERAL HOME, 117 Main Street, Fairhaven, followed by interment in River-Side Cemetery, Fairhaven. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00-7:00PM.
