View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Hazel E. (Brown) Davol, 95, of Highland Ave., Fall River, died Thursday, November 3, 2005. She was the wife of the late Thomas A. Davol, Sr. Born on May 16, 1910, in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Thomas O. and Mabel (Braley) Brown. She was a lifelong resident of Fall River.
She was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School in Fall River, Class of 1930. She was a volunteer for over 40 years at the former Union Hospital Gift Shop.
Mrs. Davol was a longtime member of Union United Methodist Church in Fall River. She was a member of the Wesleyan Circle of the church and the Women’s Society of Christian Service, which later became the United Methodist Women.
She was a volunteer for the Red Cross Blood bank for many years. She also was a member of the Fall River Women’s Club. She enjoyed knitting and needle work.
Survivors include a son, Thomas A. Davol, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Somerset, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a niece and a nephew. She was the sister of the late Whitney Brown and the late Eleanor Allcock.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service Tuesday, November15, 2005 at 10:00 am in the Adams House, 1168 Highland Ave., Fall River.
