View Tribute and Sign Guestbook NEW BEDFORD – Mary (Justley) Wilson, 95, of Sunrise Drive in Dartmouth, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. She was the widow of Stanley B. Wilson.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Manuel and the late Louisa (Lemos) Justley, Mrs. Wilson worked at the New Bedford Credit Bureau and for many years at the Cherry and Webb Department Store until her retirement.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara W. Carvalho and her husband James of Bolton; a brother, Joseph E. Justley of Acushnet; two sisters, Louise B. Harwood of New Bedford and Marjorie J. Sylvia of Fairhaven; two grandsons, Michael Carvalho and his wife Jennifer Powers of Silver Springs, MD, and Andrew Carvalho and his wife Alyson Saykin of Waltham; a great-granddaughter, Emma McCall Carvalho; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Wilson will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007, at 11:00AM at the Centre Trinity United Methodist Church, County St., New Bedford. All other arrangements will be private, under the direction of the DONAGHY FUNERAL HOME, 465 County Street, New Bedford.
