View Tribute and Sign Guestbook David L. Tiffany, 58 years old, died Monday, May 1, 2006 after a lengthy illness with Huntington's Disease. He was a Town of Dighton Firefighter/EMT for over 30 years prior to his retirement due to illness. He was born in Independence, Iowa and was raised there and in West Union, Iowa. He was the son of Wilber Tiffany and the late Irene (Schlumbohn) Tiffany and the step son of Eva (Anderson) Tiffany both of Iowa. Before becoming a full time Dighton Firefighter he was employed by the Foxboro Co.. He served in the U S Navy and was stationed at Qonset, RI and aboard the USS Esex and the USS Wasp. He was a avid Red Sox fan. He is the husband of Alice (August) Tiffany and the father of David Tiffany and his wife Kimberly of Dighton, Gloria Chace and her husband Randy of Rehoboth and Deborah Rendon and her husband Robert of Dighton; grandfather of Jennifer and Richard Chace, Thomas and Kyle David Rendon, Dylan Michael and Kaydence Tiffany; brother of Mary Ann Hooker, step brother of Beverly Curtiss and brother of the late Marcia Kay Taylor all of Iowa.
Funeral Information
His funeral will be held in the Dighton Community Church, Elm Street, Dighton on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 12 Noon. Interment will be in the Dighton Unitarian Church Cemetery. Visiting hours on Thursday, May 4, 2006 from 4-8PM in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home 350 Somerset Ave. Taunton,MA
