Joanne B. (Guzik) Replenski

TAUNTON – Joanne B. (Guzik) Replenski, 86, died Wednesday evening, July 21, 2010, in Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Stanley and Helen (Koldoziej) Guzik, she was a 1942 graduate of Taunton High School and a communicant of Holy Rosary Church.

For over twenty years Joanne was employed as a trimmer at the former Taunton Sports Wear Company on Broadway. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her flower gardens, going to Cape Cod, dining out, and her dog “Drossie.” Joanne especially loved cooking and baking for her family.

She was the widow of Thaddeus Replenski and the mother of Eleanor Daniels of Taunton, Edward Replenski of Taunton and Paul Replenski and his wife Lois of Delaware. Joanne was the grandmother of Nicolette and Nathan Daniels of Taunton and Robyn and Stephen Replenski of Delaware and the mother-in-law of the late Thomas Daniels. She was the sister of Edward Guzik of Taunton and the aunt of several.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral from THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, Thursday, July 29, 2010, at 9:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Rosary Church, 80 Bay Street, Taunton, at 10:00 AM, followed by interment in St. Francis Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 28, from 4:00-8:00 PM in the funeral home.
