Gail E. (Brookings) Kullas

TAUNTON – Gail E. (Brookings) Kullas, 85, died in Marian Manor in Taunton Wednesday, November 18, 2009, following a period of failing health. Born in Melrose, MA, the daughter of the late Walter and Ethelyn (Tart) Brookings, she was the widow of Walter J. Kullas, Sr., who died in July 1992.

Mrs. Kullas was educated in the Melrose Public Schools. For many years she worked in the bakery at the Fernandes Supermarket store in Raynham.

She is survived by a daughter, Gail Brookings, and two sons, Walter Kullas, Jr., and his wife Elaine, and Robert Kullas, all of Taunton. Gail was the grandmother of Lynn Pelletier, Jill Leighton, Stephen and Dean Kullas; and the great-grandmother of eight. Gail is also survived by her former son-in-law, Bruce Zeiba.

At the request of Mrs. Kullas, her funeral and interment services will be private for her family.
