TAUNTON – Richard A. Walker, 45, died on Saturday, March 10, 2007, in the Franklin Skilled Nursing Home. Born in Attleboro, the son of Dorothy (Tucker) Walker of Attleboro and the late Richard O. Walker, he was a twenty-year resident of Taunton. Mr. Walker was educated in the Attleboro Public Schools and was a retired jewelry worker at the Balfour Company in Attleboro. He was a communicant of St. John’s Church, while living in Attleboro. He was known for his love of singing and for always being a gentleman. Besides his mother, he is survived by seven sisters, Catherine Hicks of Taunton, Judith Berube of FL, Lillian Curlin of N. Attleboro, Elaine Walker, Edith Parker and Robin Bettencourt of Attleboro, and Ann Walker of Millis; an aunt, Ann Kenney of Providence; and an uncle Gilbert Walker of Taunton; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral InformationA graveside service will be held in the Fox Cemetery, Berkley, on Friday, May 25, 2007.
