Mary Hagopian

FALL RIVER – Mary Hagopian, 85, of Dickinson St., Fall River, died Friday, December 25, 2009, at home. Born in Madison, Maine, a daughter of the late Nathan & Anna (Givengian) Hagopian, she was the wife of the late George Almeida.

She was a self employed real estate salesperson for many years and was a Fall River resident for more than fifteen years, having relocated from Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Mary was an avid reader, enjoyed Jazz music, and Big Bands in particular, and liked watching old classic movies. She also went to Curves three times a week.

She is survived by two sons, Gregory Almeida of Clovis, California, and Richard Duclos of Fall River; and a brother, Jack Hagopian of Brockton, MA. She was the grandmother of Mark Almeida, Deanna Almeida, and the great-grandmother of Jaydee, Trinity, and Charron.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at 4:00pm in THE HATHAWAY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 1813 Robeson St., Fall River, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
