Carolyn M. De Moura

Carolyn M. (Corey) De Moura, 59 years old, died at her home on May 31, 2007 following a period of failing health. Born in Taunton, daughter of James L. and Cecelia (Cabral) Corey of Dighton. She was the wife of Edward C. De Moura of Dighton and mother and best friend of Amanda L. Emond and her husband Chris of Dighton, grandmother of Thomas, Jordan and Christopher Emond; sister of Terry Matteson and her husband Kevin of Taunton. Aunt of Josh, Amy and Sarah Matteson of Taunton and sister in law of Joyce Jones of Berkley, Doreen Machado of East Taunton, John De Moura of Lakeville, Bobby De Moura of Berkley and Tony De Moura of ME and their families.
She was for over 22 years the Office Manager for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School. She loved her family, riding her motorcycle, shopping, her garden and doing crafts. She was graceful, strong and beautiful to all that knew her.

Funeral Information

Her funeral service will be held in the West Dighton Christian Church, corner of Wellington and Horton Streets, Dighton on Tuesday June 5, 2007 at 10AM. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-8PM in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South) Taunton. Interment Fox Cemetery, Berkley.
