Annie O'Donnell

Annie (Skelly) O'Donnell, 94, formerly of New Bedford died Monday, December 4, 2006 at the home of her granddaughter where she had lived for the past three years. She was the wife of the late Eugene O'Donnell. Born in Pawtucket, RI, the daughter of the late William and Annie Skelly, she lived most of her life in New Bedford. She had worked at the Berkshire Hathaway years ago.

She is survived by a daughter, Mabel Simmons; five grandchildren, Tanya and Damien Hughes, Steve and Jeff O'Donnell and Tara Simmons and several great grandchildren. Mrs. O'Donnell was the mother of the late Eugene O'Donnell and Elizabeth Hughes.

Funeral Information

Calling hours are Thursday from 6-8 PM in the Donaghy Funeral Home, 465 County Street, New Bedford. A graveside service will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford.
