NEW BEDFORD – Dylan Troy Lariviere, the infant son of Sarah Lariviere and Carmilo “Milo” Garcia, died unexpectedly Monday, June 23, 2008, at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford. He was born May 6, 2008 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Erica Elizabeth Abarca of New Bedford; his maternal grandparents, William and Lisa Berry of Acushnet; his paternal grandmother, Santos D. Leon of Guatemala; his maternal great-grandparents, Roger and Suzanne Lariviere of New Bedford; uncles, Jonathan Lucas and Val and Genaro Garcia, all of New Bedford, and the late Alexander Lucas; and a cousin, Celina Lucas of New Bedford.

Funeral Information

His funeral will be held Friday, June 27, 2008, at 9:00AM from THE DONAGHY FUNERAL HOME, 465 County Street, New Bedford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James’ Church, New Bedford. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, New Bedford. Calling hours will be held Thursday, June 26, from 5:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
