View Tribute and Sign Guestbook ATTLEBORO – Sopeak “Slicc” Kim, 17, of Park Avenue, Attleboro, died Saturday, July 18, 2009. Born in Attleboro, a son of Chay & Tin (Khem) Kim of Attleboro, Sopeak had just completed his junior year at Attleboro High School, his favorite class being Gym Class.
A lifelong Attleboro resident, he enjoyed learning during all his classes at school, and was working in the network program for the summer at the school. He was a member of the Buddist Temple of Providence, RI, and enjoyed playing football, playing music, his guitar and piano, in particular. He had a very special laugh .
Bseides his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Mon Kim, Pheap Kim, and Phoeuth Kim; two sisters, Sophie Kim, Sophea Kim, all of Attleboro; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
His funeral service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2009, at 9:00AM in the FOLEY- HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts. Following cremation, burial will take place in the North Purchase Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, with calling hours being held from 8:30am – 9:00AM, prior to the start of the funeral.
