View Tribute and Sign Guestbook EAST PROVIDENCE – Irene (Dube) Labbe, 91, of East Providence, formerly of Fall River, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008, at the LINN Healthcare in East Providence. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Alphonse and Rosalia (Forgette) Dube, she was the wife of the late Albert A. Labbe.
Mrs. Labbe worked as a sewing machine operator for the former Globe Pants Manufacturing. A communicant of Saint Mary’s Cathedral in Fall River, she enjoyed playing cards, doing crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Labbe leaves a son, Albert Labbe of Riverside, RI; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Blanche Perrault and Alberta Estrella.
Funeral Information
Her funeral was held Wednesday, July 23, 2008, in Saint Mary’s Cathedral in Fall River. Her burial too place in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
