View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Alice (Borges) White, 88 of Kennedy Terrace, Somerset died Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River she was the wife of the late Frank White and the late Cleo Desrosiers. Born June 25, 1918 in Fall River, MA; she was the daughter of the late August and Amelia (Pavao) Borges.
Mrs. White had worked as a seamstress in local mills in the Fall River area, she had also helped at Desrow Gift Shops in Fall River and Taunton. She was a member of Saint John of God Church in Somerset, she enjoyed fishing.
She leaves one son, Roger Desrosiers of Somerset, MA; one sister, Beatrice Souza of Swansea, MA; one nephew, Robert Souza of Freemont, California, one niece, Judy Perreault of Ocala, Florida, two great nieces, Sheila Souza of Tiverton, R.I., Shelly Dosvais of Port Charlotte, Florida, two great nephews, Derik Mello of Swansea, MA; Jeffrey Mello, Swansea, MA; Mrs. White was the mother of the late Gerald Desrosiers and sister of the late Henry Borges.
Funeral Information
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 9:00 am in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 in the funeral home.
