View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Joseph R. Lariviere, age 93, formerly of Main St. in Albion, died Saturday, September 9, 2006 in the Oakland Grove Health Center in Woonsocket. He was the husband of the late Florence (Provencial) Lariviere. He was born in St. Jude, Province of Qubec in Canada on October 8, 1912 a son of the late Victor and Aldea (Dufault) Lariviere.
He had lived in Albion since 1919 and was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Albion where he married Florence in 1925. He had owned and operated the former Albion Poultry Farm for twenty five years before he retired in 1964.
He leaves one cousin and his caregiver Yolande Landry of the Village of Albion in Lincoln and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John, Adrien, Zephirin Paul and Prospere Lariviere, Blanche Bebeault and Flore Riendeau.
Funeral Information
His Funeral will be held on Wednesday September 13, 2006 at 9 AM from THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket,RI followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Albion. Burial will follow in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Albion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours TUESDAY from 4 to 8 PM in MENARD FUNERAL HOME.
