Allan M. Ferreira

View Tribute and Sign Guestbook TAUNTON – Allan M. Ferreira, 47, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, in the Tufts – New England Medical Center in Boston. Born in Cambridge, the son of the late John and Josephine (Maffa) Ferreira, he was the husband of Laurie (Pellegrini) Ferreira.
He was educated at Belmont High School and was for over twenty years a manager for H. C. Starch Co. in Newton Highlands. He was a member of the Untied States Marine Corps Reserve. A resident of Taunton for nearly twenty years, coming from Waltham, Allan was a total history buff and he participated in numerous Civil War re-enactments. He was a family man who loved his children so very much. He was also a former member of Holy Family Church in East Taunton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, John, Michael, Christopher, Brittany and Kaitlyn Ferreira. Allen is also survived by his siblings, Carolyn Hadcock of New Hampshire, Janice Bouck of Mansfield, John Ferreira of New Hampshire, and Stephen Ferreira of Brockton; as well as by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, Monday, November 30, 2009, from 2:00-6:00PM, with a funeral service to be held at 6:00PM in the funeral home.
