TAUNTON / RAYNHAM – Mary C. (Cleary) Bisio, 87, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010, in Morton Hospital in Taunton. Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (McGann) Bisio, she was the widow of Leo J. Bisio. A long time resident of Raynham, Mary was retired from the Raynham Public School system where she was employed as a cafeteria aide. She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Raynham, where she was actively involved, serving as Past President of the Women’s Guild and also as a CCD teacher. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Taunton. With her late husband Leo, she was very active in local and state levels of politics. She was the sister of the late Bernard Cleary, former Mayor of Taunton. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and was most recently thrilled that she had become a great-grandmother to Marina Bisio-Dorisca of Lakeville. Mary was the mother of Mary Lee Nunes and her husband John of Franklin, John Bisio and his wife Noreen of Madison, NH, Leo Bisio and his wife Michelle of Lakeville, and Christine Bolton and her husband Edward of Providence, RI. Mary was the grandmother of Lesley Jaye Bolton of Providence, Meghan Hyland of Fall River, Erica Nunes of Brooklyn, NY, Courtney Hyland of Mansfield, MA, Bridgid Mulrooney of Brookline, MA, Jarod Bisio of Lakeville, Ashley Nunes of Quincy and Kristen Bisio of Lakeville. Funeral InformationRelatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, August 30, 2010, at 11:30 AM in St. Ann’s Church, Raynham. Visiting hours will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Monday in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, prior to the Mass. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Francis Cemetery.
