TAUNTON – Audrey (Robinson) Warish, 86, died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, in Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. Born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Alexander and Cora Lee (Couts) Robinson, she was the wife of the late Michael Warish.

Educated in the Taunton Public Schools and a 1940 graduate of Taunton High School, she was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Audrey enjoyed knitting, birds and gardening.

She was the devoted mother of Sandra Hayden, Susan Zuromski, both of Taunton, and Douglas Warish of Concord, NH, George Warish of Taunton (retired Police Chief, Town of Rehoboth), Philip Warish of Taunton (Lt., City of Taunton Police Department), and David Warish, of Raynham (also a Lt., City of Taunton Police Department). Audrey was the grandmother of ten and the great-grandmother of five. She was the sister of Vara Cap of Bridgewater.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton, Saturday, July 11, 2009, at 11:30AM. Interment will be in the Mayflower Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Friday, July 10, from 4:00-8:00PM.
