View Tribute and Sign Guestbook FALL RIVER – Jessie (Walker) Dennis, 100, of Highland Avenue in Fall River, died on Thursday, September 6, 2007, at the Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Facility in Fall River. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Frank A. and Sarah (Ousley) Walker, she was the wife of the late Earle W. Dennis.
Mrs. Dennis graduated from the former Herricks Institute of Business, and years ago worked as a reporter for the former Fall River Globe newspaper. She later worked as a secretary for the former Browne & Sharpe Company in Providence, and for the former Truesdale Hospital. She was a former member of Church of Our Saviour.
Mrs. Dennis leaves a daughter, Gail W. Clark and her husband Robert of East Freetown, MA; a son, Earle W. Dennis and his wife Carolyn of North Kingstown, RI; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Irene Waring.
