View Tribute and Sign Guestbook Normand J. Lafleur, age 74, of Vernon Court, Tallahassee, FL died Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at home. He was the husband of Dean (Cozart) Lafleur. He was born in Cumberland, RI on April 14, 1932, a son of the late Josephat and Yvonne (Lafleur) Lafleur.
He had lived in Florida for the past 13 years and he was a member of the Elks. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Normand had been a Vice President of Manufacturing for the Northrup Corporation inTorrance CA. for ten years before retiring in 1992.
Besides his wife he leaves two sons Rene N. and his wife Patricia E. Lafleur of Smithfield and Raymond J. Lafleur of Falls Church, VA. One daughter Suzette R. and her husband Wally Zukauskas of Beaver Creek, OH. One brother Richard Lafleur in NH and three sisters Doris LaCombe of Cumberland, Lucielle Lafleur of Sarasota, FL and Lorraine Scotland of Apopka, FL. Four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Richard and Roger Lafleur.
Funeral Information
His Funeral will be held on Monday at 9 AM from THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME, 127 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket, RI followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Precious Blood Church, 94 Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket. Burial with full Military Honors will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter,RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours SUNDAY IN THE MENARD FUNERAL HOME FROM 5 TO 8 pm.
