ATTLEBORO – Eugene Reinhardt, aged 100, of Twelfth St., Attleboro, died on Thursday, January 3, 2008, in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. Born in Germany, a son of the late Karl Jacob and Maria Caroline (Engel) Reinhardt, he was the husband of the late Herta A. (Kaelber) Reinhardt. A resident of Attleboro since 1954 (previously living in Indiana), Mr. Reinhart was employed as a hub and die cutter for the L. G. Balfour Company for twenty-three years, before retiring in 1976. He was the oldest member of the Second Congregational Church of Attleboro, where he served as a Deacon and was a member of the Flower Committee. He leaves one son, Helmut E. Reinhardt and his wife Josephine Ruggiero; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Christa, Marissa, Stefan Reinhardt and Kristan Reinhardt Hutchinson; as well as two great-grandchildren, Taylor Grace and Geneva Lark Reinhardt. He was the father of the late Juergen Reinhardt and the brother of the late Adolf, Werner, Ferdinand and Amalie Reinhardt. Funeral InformationHis funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at 10:00AM, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Lynn Holden, in THE FOLEY-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 126 South Main St. (Route 152), in Attleboro. Burial will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, 825 North Main St., Attleboro.
