Donna M. Anctil, 59, of Bedford, NH, formerly of Somerset, MA, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017. She was the loving wife of Michael Anctil with whom she shared 39 years of marriage.

Donna was born in St. Michael, Azores, Portugal and was a daughter of Guilherme and Nelly (Medeiros) Carvalho.

Donna was employed as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Hewlett-Packard, Fujitsu, and Unisys for many years until her retirement. She also served as a technology consultant at CO-HERE in NH and as a book editor for a local New England novelist. Donna enjoyed cooking, reading, trips to St. Thomas and Portugal, and visiting family in Canada. Most of all, spending time with her family and close friends brought Donna great joy in life and she will be deeply missed.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her son Ryan Anctil and his fiancée Katlyn Griffin of Boston; a sister, Olga Silvia and her husband Paul of Naples, FL; many nieces and nephews and a large loving extended family.

“Your smile, like no other, comes often today from a light source within, from self -synthesis.

Your, laugh, frequent, deep and guttural, commands your world gently, a world, thanks to you, filled with spells of wisdom and potions of hope.

In the end, I have only one question: When exactly did you touch the stars and become a goddess?”
