SWANSEA – Beverly Ann (Moniz) Rebello, 63, of Buffington Street, Swansea, and North Ft. Myers, Florida, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007, at her residence. Born in Fall River, June 9, 1943, the daughter of the late Frank A. and Alexandrina (Costa) Moniz, she was the wife of forty-six years of Deodato “Ted” Rebello.

Mrs. Rebello was the owner and clerk of Louie’s and Ted’s Blacktop, Inc., in Swansea for thirty-seven years. She was a communicant of Saint John of God Church in Somerset. She belonged to the Matunick Beach Club, and enjoyed dancing, reading, traveling, and going to the beach.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rebello is survived by a daughter, Lorie Rebello-Sampson of Swansea; a son, Jeff F. Rebello of Orlando, FL; a sister, Lydia Moniz of Swansea; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frank A. Moniz Jr. and Edward Moniz.

Funeral Information

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007, at 8:00AM from the HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME FOR FUNERALS, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM in Saint John of God Church, 996 Brayton Ave., Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Swansea.
