View Tribute and Sign Guestbook EAST TAUNTON – Richard Serrecchia, 53, formerly of West Roxbury, died in his home, Sunday, March 7, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston, the son of Angelo Serrecchia of West Roxbury and the late Louise (Vincentio) Serrecchia, he was the loving husband of Audrey (Moussally), with whom he shared a twenty-five year marriage.
A resident of East Taunton for the past twenty years, Mr. Serrecchia was educated in schools in Jamaica Plain, Boston. He was employed as a Fire Alarm Tech for Fire Systems, Inc., of Dartmouth. He enjoyed fine cigars on his deck, watching old movies, working in his garden and listening to Christmas songs all year long.
He was the father of Nina-Marie Serrecchia and Camille Therese Serrecchia, both of East Taunton. He was also the beloved brother of Peter and Lillian Serrecchia of West Roxbury, Michael Serrecchia of Framingham, Robert Serrecchia and his wife Kellie of Bedford, NH, and Anne Marie Serrecchia of Maine. He was also the god-father of Alexa Serrecchia of Bedford, NH. Richard was the son-in-law of Fred and Laurice Moussally of Dedham and the brother-in-law and uncle of several.
Funeral Information
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in THE CRAPO-HATHAWAY FUNERAL HOME, 350 Somerset Ave. (Route 138 South), Taunton Saturday evening, March 13, 2010 at 8:00PM. Visiting hours will be held Saturday from 4:00-8:00PM prior to the service.
